June 20, 2013 - Regular Meeting Agenda Item #17 Item Title C-18 Contract between the School Board of Clay County and Melissa Whitaker, Student Services Aide with Project R.E.A.C.H., pending approval of the Education for Homeless Children and Youth Program Grant Issue/Rationale The SBCC has been the recipient of the Title X Education for Homeless Children & Youth Programs Grant since 2002-2003.  This grant funded Student Services Aide will assist the two certified social workers provide services to homeless children in the month of July 2013. Recommended Action Approve the Contract between the School Board of Clay County and Melissa Whitaker, Student Services Aide with Project R.E.A.C.H., pending approval of the Education for Homeless Children and Youth Program Grant as submitted. Financial Impact $1,600.00 to be paid out of the Title X Education for Homeless Children & Youth Programs Grant.
